COMPOSITION PORTFOLIO

Jenna was a composer from 2002-2005 and has been reconnecting to this skill in her creative practice in recent years. Her work has been performed in the UK and Hong Kong and she took composition lessons from Dr Kim-Ho Ip in 2005. Performed works and recordings are below:

TO SPRING

A poem by William Blake set as an a capella choral work for SSAATTBB and soprano and mezzo soprano soloists.

O COLUMBA INSIGNIS SIGNIFER

An instrumental chamber work for two violins, cello and flute written for the Heriot-Watt University Young Composers competition. The work did not win, but was featured in the final concert because the performers enjoyed it so much.

MISSA BREVIS

A cappella five movement choral work for SSSAATTBB and two soprano soloists.
